BOMBERS COME OUT STRONG TO OPEN THE SEASON

The Beantown Bombers u12 and u9 teams took the field for the first time in 2019 with strong performances. The u9s, having not played together before, took both games of a double header vs a strong F

ury team. The team used balance throughout the order, and strong pitching performances, from Alex Marx, Gabe Schwarzman, and Charlie Saris to take both game by a score of 9 to 4 and 10 to 6 respectively. While the u12s took on a national rank Nakona team. Behind a special pitching performance from Jack Nicholetta, the u12s tied Nakona 2 to 2. The hitting from both teams was predictably slow, but as the season wears on all the coaches have confidence the bats will warm up. This upcoming weekend promises to be exciting as all 6 teams take the field.
